Joe Sakic, Pavel Bure, Mats Sundin and newly hired Capitals coach Adam Oates will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
The 2012 class was announced Tuesday, according to an ESPN.com report.

Avs' Landeskog Named NHL's Top Rookie
The NHL announced this evening that Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog has been named the recipient of the 2012 Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL's rookie of the year.
Landeskog received 1,383 votes, edging the Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins by 382 votes. The Devils' Adam Henrique finished third with 620 votes. The Calder Trophy, which dates back to 1933, is awarded "to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition in the National Hockey League."
Lundqvist Wins Vezina Trophy
Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist has been named the 2011-12 Vezina Trophy winner. The Vezina Trophy is awarded annually to the goaltender who is "adjudged to be the best at his position," as voted by the league's 30 GMs.
Lundqvist, 30, established career-highs in wins (39) and save percentage (.930), and posted a career-best in goals against average (1.97) this season. He tied for fourth in the NHL in goals against average, third in shutouts (eight), and ranked third in wins and save percentage.
Malkin Named NHL's Most Valuable
Penguins center Evgeni Malkin won the Hart Trophy on Wednesday night, becoming the NHL's most valuable player for the first time.
Malkin won the Hart for the first time, beating out Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist and Lightning scorer Steven Stamkos. Malkin also collected the Art Ross Trophy as the league scoring champion and the Ted Lindsay Award from his fellow NHLPA members as the NHL's best player.
"It's the best day of my life," said Malkin, known to teammates and fans as Geno. "It's very exciting."
Karlsson Wins Norris Trophy
Erik Karlsson of the Senators has won his first Norris Trophy as the NHL's top defenseman at the league's awards ceremony Wednesday night.
The 22-year-old Swede beat out the Bruins' Zdeno Chara and the Predators' Shea Weber in a close vote.
NHL Announces More Presenters For Awards
The NHL has increased its roster of presenters for the 2012 NHL Awards by four with the additions of actors Eric Stonestreet ("Modern Family"), Ray Liotta ("All Things Fall Apart," "Killing Them Softly," Goodfellas"), Adam Pally ("Happy Endings") and professional dancer and TV personality Cheryl Burke ("Dancing with the Stars").
The 2012 NHL Awards will be held at the Encore Theater at the Wynn Las Vegas on Wednesday, June 20.
